Photographed from the old Newark tower (since been demolished), this beautiful Virgin 747-200 taxiis down for a 22R departure to London Heathrow on this beautiful late summer evening. Unfortunately, this would be the last time I would ever see the twin towers from Newark airport (August 2001), as the next time I would see them was from JFK just a few days before the 9/11 tragedy....
