This airplane was built in 1968. I took this photo in January 1997, and it unfortunately suffered a terrible crash in Miami just 7 months later...

FINEAIR_DC8_N7046H_MIA_0197_JP_small.jpgFine Air was kind enough to provide me with unrestricted access with one of their senior managers around their entire facility at MIA including going inside these old workhorse DC8's and also doing some night photography from their hangar roof. I had to make this photo black and white because the original Kodachrome slide is a bit too green- slide film and indoor light with no flash are a bad combination, so better to see it black and white than with an ugly green cast
